How's this for excellent? I already have read a book that could be a good choice for fourth and fifth graders!
That book is: Clover Twig and the Magical Cottage by Kaye Umansky.
I am a Youth Services Librarian and read lots and lots of books. You name the genre, you name the age group from books for babies to adults, I read it! In addition, I'm on a committee that is looking for excellent readalouds published within the past 5 years for teachers to read to students in preschool and grades K-5. Do you have any favorite books you'd like to recommend?
The next two books in my pile are The Birthday Ball by Lois Lowry and The Incorrigible Children of Ashton Place: The Mysterious Howling by Maryrose Wood.
ReplyDeleteBoth look promising!
